Manchester Area Photo Tour

Manchester, Vermont is steeped in history going as far back as the American Revolution. Ethan Allen and his Green Mountain Boys frequented the area as well as the Lincoln family and Calvin Coolidge who incidentally was born not 40 minutes away. Both Lincoln and Coolidge family homes can be visited when you are in the area. Manchester and the neighboring towns of Dorset and Arlington have been vacation spots since well before the 1900's and continues that reputation today. Although Manchester's permanent population is only over some 4000 people it attracts visitors and second home owners year round. Sitting in the midst of the Green Mountains near the Appalachian Trail its beauty is truly magnificent. Year round there are many things to do and see.
